Wow this is a killer pedal! I actually like that a lot more than my "Klön clone" pedal! The dynamics have a crisp quality that I really like. Oh and that guitar is sharp too! 🤘

I dig that compression lift knob! It sounds good, how do you like that St James cab?

So what is the difference gain wise between this model and the ODR CS?
@SteveSterlacci3 ай бұрын
Totally different circuits. Both are capable of the full range of gains. I'd say the mos has a higher gain "feel" to it

Is this pedal brighter than the odr?
@SteveSterlacci3 ай бұрын
Depends how it's dialed in. I'd say it's got more touch sensitivity and compression that could sound more sizzly

why do they say 'Nashville'? It all just sounds like AC/DC or generic, shit 80s 'hair metal' tones to me?

You can call it whatever ya want my friend

It’s just a euphemism for a pedal that session players like to have in their arsenal, usually because it finds a space in a band mix and therefore engineers like the resulting tone. Need a slightly sizzly lead or rhythm tone to peep through? Stick this pedal on it. And Nashville is the current high water mark mecca session players in the way that LA was for the previous gen. So calling anything ‘Nashville’ is gonna get you some interest from us musos. The pedal makers are also looking for any Nashville session player faves, so we’ve had a bunch of Nobels and Maxon clones, and now this. As Steve says, the new ones are made better and tend to have more features, albeit often at a price. Watch out for Xotic RC Booster “Nashville boost”clones…

@@onenotesolo256 it's just when I hear 'Nashville' I think 'countryish' which alludes to clean or 'transparent' tone or even 'organic' tones NOT another 'hi gain' shred or 'doom' pedal! This just sounds like a HiGain style pedal to me, and I'm expecting the Nordland stuff to be more along the 'post-Klon' style.
