Man, just re-watched this after a long time. The part where he is talking about staph, MRSA and being on antibiotics hit me hard. Not knowing he was sick, it would just be a very Norm healthcare joke and wordplay, but now I wonder if he didn't really have a blood infection a month before this video. Cancer and treatment are so brutal and traumatic. It is sad to know for sure that the number of Norm KZbin videos is finite.

The thing about Norm bombing is that, when he was doing Weekend Update on SNL, he understood that bombing in front of the 300-person LA audience watching the show was not the same thing as bombing in front of the millions of people watching TV at midnight on a Saturday, and sometimes it was funny to not get a laugh from the studio audience in order to get a bigger laugh from the home audience. That's not the same thing as getting off on disappointing a crowd altogether.
