Why?
@KingMinosxxvi3 жыл бұрын
@@jamesragsdale8202 Norm explained that he didn't record specials (he only did two) because he did like to sell out his material to cheaply. What I mean by that is that he had about 10 hours of really solid material built up (which is a ton by the way) and he want to be able to spontaneously use it for stand up in any order on any night. Then it could be seen as a surprise to almost anyone coming to see his show. Norm believe that the element of surprise and spontaneity combined almost seamlessly with perfect craft was incredibly important to his comedy and comedy in general. @JJStarcade4 жыл бұрын
@@arnavrawat9864 the saying is "ashes to ashes, dust to dust", as in from the bible it says god made man by taking dust from the ground and blowing life into it, and then when we die our bodies break down and become dust/ashes again, and at our funerals the priest commits our bodies back to the earth from which it came by saying that phrase. But saying "stuff to stuff" is funny because it takes the somber, serious nature of death, and the sacred nature of the 'dust' that made us, and crassly calling it 'stuff', which has a connotation of worthlessness or trash.
