Wow, I've never heard anyone actually make Bennington laugh. Usually he keeps his cover of sarcasm and dry humor. Like he did when they were talking about the press always being good and Hitler. He probably just had better things to do with his time, like sleep. Carson wasn't really for us so much as the parents who watched it religiously at 10pm in bed before going to sleep. It was pretty much our first exposure to America's Hollywood here in Canada other than movies we saw in the theatre. We watched more of the after school specials & TV show's like Bewitched & I Dream of Jeannie, Partridge Family, Brady Bunch, Gilligan's Island, Star Trek. Back then it was a more wholesome time & place as opposed to the deviant cesspool it has become today.

@ 30:00 Norm is into the influx of Harvard as a comedy writing school (Columbia as well but Harvard's more well established). Is speaking to the old-timers cynicism at such things as film school's, comedy writing schools etc. Sid Caesar was once disgusted when he heard I'd actually GONE TO SCHOOL for it - he was like film school's the stupidest thing I ever heard of. -Just as Norm states here - i.e. Head-butting over how to get trained - dueling ideologies. .

Mark Curtis want Mark Curtis to know he's a douche bag... Go back to "The View".. they will love you there... Maybe you could watch Michelle Obama's meat bouncing around in his pants on Ellen

Carson had tons of guest on that talked politics and roasted presidents. Saturday night live did it from their first season. All of a sudden, everyone acts like it's all new!

But Carson never showed what political side he was on. He took on everyone equally. Big difference from the talk shows today.
