Norm is the master of making an argument so reductive, it makes the other person take up an indefensible position lol

The last person was Stephen Merchant, most famous for being the co-creator of the original The Office. You're probably thinking of Danny Wallace who played Shaun Hastings in Assassin's Creed. They're unfortunately both damned by the curse of being born bri*ish.

Gotta say bro, I’m glad to see a young person out there still has common sense when it comes to disciplining children. There’s a reason it says to in the Bible.

The "other guy" you speak of is Stephen Merchant who has worked closely with Ricky Gervais. They did a podcast together among other projects.

Spanking kids is a way for parents who cant connect with their kids to get them to behave. Instead of actually taking the time to talk to them to understand why what they did is bad. Fear shouldn't deter a child, knowing it's bad is what should.

Every kid is different. I'm one out of 7 rowdy boys and Dad taught us to behave and sometimes it was at the end of his belt. He didn't beat us. I loved my Dad. He was funny. He was kind. He was my hero. But he ran a tight ship and we didn't have the cops bringing us home either. I have 2 grown kids. I whipped mine when they needed it and they grew up well adjusted and respectful. And already succeeding at a young age. My son is a foot taller than me now. I think if he resented anything he'd let me know. He's Daddys boy still

Spanking causes problems

I disagree with your take on hitting children. You can teach your kids respect without using fear to do so. It's been linked to so many develpmental/emotional problems as well. If you have to use fear and violence to "control" your children you're not good at the whole patenting thing.

God bless you and your opinion but that's why kids are burning American flags on campuses while our taxes pay for their " indoctrination" These kids parents are too worried bout being their kids friends instead of being their parents
