Norm said many times he hates political comedy, but pretty sure he hated being sincere (on camera, at least) more than anything. He skipped two grades, so nobody knew how brilliant he actually was other than his loved ones, so I'm guessing this interview was just a favour to Joyce...or his brother Neil.
