Little known fact: George Wendt had a writing credit on every show. From the time he came through the door until reaching the stool, he would write the set-up line and then deliver the punch line. However, he never revealed the punch line until the actual, live taping. If you watch Danson, especially, you'll note he almost always has a bottle of water going to his mouth after the punch line to hide his laughing. George's sister, Martha, was a former classmate of mine and when we met George he revealed that little nugget to us. Now, you know.
