When I was a kid I could always tell deer season was here when I’d see a scrap of plywood in my grampas garage with 3 or 4 bullet holes in it from his old Remington 30-06 Woodsmaster. That woodsmaster is now in my gun safe. My son has the same exact rifle and I have the Predator model in 308. Awesome rifles!

I'm so happy with my Ruger American 308!! I saw a video of yours and I finally got one exactly like it. Talk about a tackdriver, all I had to do was lighten the trigger down all the way and bingo, there it was. Win 180 gr pointed softpoint ammo was the first and last try cause it'll poke em in a single jagged hole at a hundred If the wind ain't blowing much and I concentrate on the 9 fundamentals of marksmanship, courtesy of the USMC, SEMPER FI

Along with firearms I shoot air rifles I've found that in air rifles when changing pellets it's best to shoot 2 pellets thru'. Then do my do diligence with groups. But as a final understanding the last 3 shots will be separated by at least 5 minutes up to a day. Simulating a pickup shoot cold first shot average.

I bought some of the same ammo, and shot it in three different rifles. A Remington 700 BDL, PSA10, and a Rock River Arms LAR 8. Groups @ 100yds. ranged 2 1/2 - 3 inches, and it chonographed 275 to 300 fps under the velocity listed on the box. I’ll not be wasting any more money on it.

I bought a new gun and scope. Within no time after installing the scope, I was shooting sub 1" groups at 100 yrds. I am more then happy with the Norma ammo. So much so I bought 11 boxes.

Seeing those paper plates reminded me when we would go out to sight in our hunting rifles. My dad would put up one plate at a 100 yd take out his 30-06 he'd say if he could hit that plate it was close enough. Usually only took one shot he didn't believe in shooting up a whole bunch of ammunition.

Ranged today with my Mossberg Patriot 308 and Norma 150 grain grouped under 1” for 4 out of 5 shots! HSM Gameking 165 grain came in 2nd. Amazing the least expensive ammo shot the best in the least expensive rifle i have ever owned.

Well now that was a interesting video and one of my favorite whitetail deer calibers. I shoot a Remington 700 bolt gun in 308 and it doesn't really seem to matter too much, because it seems to handle all common whitetail rounds with very good accuracy.

357 pillow story. S&W about 8' away. 150 grain jacketed hollow points. 6" barrel sheetrock, with a pillow in front of it. Just to see if the pillow will catch it. You could even use different kinds of pillows!!! I had just a regular guy, Walmart pillow with the cottony stuff in it.

Maybe put a couple of cinder blocks on each side of the sheetrock. I actually had the bullet. Never come out of round. You pick the stuffing out of it... I'll never forget that day!!

Not sure why this ideology gets thrown around so much, why settle for 3 moa when plenty of rifles shoot 3/4" groups with the right factory ammo. I'd rather have as much in my favor when pulling the trigger in a real world hunting situation to get the job done as quick and humane as possible.

Maybe you could do a three shot group at 50 yards also. You know, to see if the boolott is still climbing. Which I would think that it is. But it would give you some reference for them up close sides of venison.

On the Norma, I think the 1st shot was clearing out the stuff from the other ammo. The last 2 shots are indicative of the Norma inherent accuracy.

My stepfather has had a lot of bad luck finding ammo for his .308 where he lives since COVID started. Going to buy him 3 boxes for a surprise gift right before open season. Where he hunts this ammunition should be more than capable of filling his freezer and I may even get some jerky out of it. Happy hunting

Not sure how I feel about this bullet. I used it in my 30-06 this year. Harvested a 10 point whitetail that dressed out at 200lbs. 30yd shoulder shot. Bullet broke the front shoulder and came to rest against the hide on the opposite shoulder. Major fragmentation and jacket separation. Killed the deer and he only hopped about 15yds before plowing up. I’m used to pass throughs from my 30-06. Maybe I’m just being paranoid but a dead deer is a dead deer lol.

You should do a ballistics gel test and group test on the new Norma evo-strike 308 ammo. It’s made out of tin and very affordable compared to other non lead hunting ammo.

I actual hunted here in Montana with this kind of ammo, I have a savage axis xp II and I hit the deer right in the heart at 110 yrds, From experience this is a really good ammo for the price, I am debating on maybe using it next year for elk hunting but not too sure any advise? I want to stick with norma ammunition and this is the only one available for the brand.. there are others like hornady and winchester but something tells me this brand is great for my rifle. PS i really enjoy your videos whoteewho i mainly look for 308 since thats what I have
