Best teacher I found on KZbin. He breaks it down so that the student understands the movement and the application. Bad jazz dude Errol Earl is!

Greetings From the Caribbean. You're the best, especially the way you slow it down. Also, the hammer on pull off riffs. Keep posting brother.

I just stumbled on your video looking for some great jass chords lessons and solos licks as well. Just started getting into jazz as a Reggae guitarist. You shows every thing so clean clear and slow love that thanks. I'll be following you and if you have any music out please let me know I will be buying them up like crazy. I love Norman Brown and I do have his music and lots of others as well. Thanks for your time and lessons blessed 🎼🎸😊👍🏾

I always approach solos from a major scale.In this case B-flat major for G minor.
@jamesjazz537510 жыл бұрын
me too. I always think major...which it all derives from...no?
@Mr1vision13 жыл бұрын
I do an inverted approach, from the relative minor. I look foward to learning from you. Thank you and be well!

Hi Errol. Are you from South Africa? I'm from Zimbabwe. You're a great guitarist, both as a teacher and as a player. Right up there with GB, Norman Brown, Kevin Eubanks, and co. Keep up the good work! Tapera Knox Chitiyo

Errol is a fantastic guitarist. Flowless technique. Musical knowledge. And love of George Benson style. Mark Whitfield is one of his main follower. Also a great guitarist.

Theory was great but your are right playing was kind of like he was stumbling through the song it was almost like he was sight reading. It was not flowing. Not saying he is not a great player and he could been playing like that because he trying to teach.
