Love this show so much and this season especially. How it's not really Norman sitting there which is why they show Vera as Mother at times

i get that madelaine is upset, but she cant get mad at dylan. dylan thought his entire life that norma was the one to blame. which in some cases she is, but norman himself has issues, which norma couldve taken care of way better, but didnt. dylan didn't know it was norman until way later.

I completely understand why Madeline is angry and she has every right to be, Norma should have gotten Norman help long before any of this happened. But at the same time there was really nothing Dylan could do, outside of trying to convince his mother to get Norman the help he desperately needed, which he has tried.

Romero gave Dylan the chance to have Norman involuntarily committed and he said no. Every death after that, including his own mother's is on Dylan.
@MrDusty5152 жыл бұрын
@@TheKennethECarper you can’t put it all on Dylan, it ultimately falls onto Norma, she knew full well of what was going on with Norman didn’t want to listen to Dylan or Romero, which is what caused Dylan to move to Seattle.

shes not wrong though... everyone knew. norma, dylan, alex... they all know norman was dangerous. not intentionally, because he has mental issues but still... they all knew and did nothing but coddle him and make excuses for him. norma never should have let him go home

maria ann Everyone did tell Norma but the only who kept Norman from not seeing the truth was Norma. The dude was 18 by the time Norma got word that he’s crazy.
@TheKennethECarper2 жыл бұрын
To be fair, Dylan did know. He knew Norman killed his father. Norman had attacked him several times. And he knew that Norman had a split-personality. He knew his brother was dangerous but he deluded himself into believing that Norman wouldn't hurt anybody. He has to own the fact that if he had gone along with Romero and gotten Norman committed behind Norma's back that Norma would still be alive and so would a whole bunch of other people.

Dylan and Romero should have signed those papers in s4. Ik they were worried about Norma’s reaction but Norman aimed an axe at Alex, and they knew he’d killed people. If they signed those papers none of the rest would have happened.

@usul5734 жыл бұрын
Maybe, but Dylan had seen that Norman was dangerous, and chose to stay out of it. If he had signed the form when Romero asked for his help, Norma, Sam, and Jim would be alive. Of course the show would be more or less over at that point. It's a tragedy of mistakes the characters make either not knowing how dangerous Norman is or looking the other way.

To understand why Madeline was angry and blaming him is because they have no connection whatsoever. She was almost a complete stranger so she has no idea the history of Norman - that’s why her anger is blind here and directed at Dylan. She doesnt know him but only knows he is related to a murderer.

@klauslvr Жыл бұрын
that's not norma, it's a fragment of norman's mind in which she's known as 'mother' and whenever norman is in a situation where he feels scared or worried she kind of like takes over his thoughts, it's part of his mental illness
@joeydrummer7929Ай бұрын
Because that’s not actually Norma. It’s Norman. It’s just part of his mental illness where he thinks he is his mother so it showed it as if it were her because Norman is currently wrapped up in that part of his mental illness. Got worse and worse as the show went on.
