It was just another early 70s easy-listening album to me. It was nice, but none of the songs stood out to me. .. then i heard “Until You Come Back To Me”. That was a beautiful cover. i think he outdid Aretha, and that is no easy feat. Then again, i have no idea which version came first. “Where or When” is one of my favorite standards. Norman’s version sounds lovely. It’s a great, soulful effort, but Barbra Streisand has spoiled me. i may have a bias. This album has a great sound. FABULOUS orchestration, but i think i would like it better if if was all instrumental. Norman has a nice voice, but it’s forgettable. The music outshines him. He and the lyrical content almost feel unnecessary, and that’s very unfortunate.
