Leif was so beautiful and gorgeous, there has never been anyone quite like him. Love you always sweet Leif ❤️❤️❤️

I wish there were more people in the world like Leif Garrett. For someone so young to be so kind, charming, intelligent, genuine, generous and to have a great sense of humor is extremely rare. It's unfortunate that he was led in the wrong direction and taken advance of and used and then thrown out into the world to deal with life when they were done with him. He didn't deserve that. He deserved love and care. I know his mom really loved him and that she too was naive to what was happening, but I feel like he was just abandoned. Then the horrible accident that changed everything. The positive thing is that he is still alive today and he seems to have conquored the disease of addiction, wrote his story and shared it with all of us. He is STILL that warm, charming and kind person. He was born with that. He is a special individual and if only there were more people like him in this world, things wouldn't be so sad. I love you Leif. Since I was about 9 years old, I've rooted for you and always wondered how you're doing.

Leif started to get into this interview from about 1:28 onwards. You can see he got Norman's humour and started to enjoy himself. A credit to him, as so many people just didn't know how to react to these satirical interviews.

@@levinmoser4001 that's where his heart and soul are. He didn't want to do Pop anymore and got his own band together after his Teen years. He's been playing Rock and Roll ever since. These truly were his Golden Years and the Producers were right about the Songs and Look etc. I still love a few of his Hits. They've stood the test of time. I don't really care for the Rock but Google it and see what you think ? Definitely talented and exceptionally handsome for such a young Boy.

He reminds me of a 1970s DiCaprio! I mean they are sooo similar with them being major heartthrobs; pretty blue-eyed, blond boys; starting off in the Hollywood business at a young age; are close to their moms; are single and childless; are scorpios (their birthdays are 3 days apart!--wow!!); similar personalities; have the same sort of smile and life; are polite during interviews; unfortunately, have aged like milk (just being honest here); were born and raised in LA; their names start with the letter "L"!; are more into show business rather than school...Wow!!

@DA90027 Aha! I found you here, too! Bitter much? Leif wasn't developed as a singer, that's no secret....but his voice has evolved beautifully over the years....and in his teen heyday he could definitely out-sing today's premiere auto-tuned poptart (J.B.) who can only hope for a fraction as many hits on his Y/tube videos 30 years from now. And did I not say that Leif will prevail? Careful....you'll be eating your own words one of these days. : )

Norman Gunston was a satirical TV character performed by Australian actor and comedian Garry McDonald. Norman Gunston was primarily well known in his native Australia, and to a lesser extent, the United States during the mid to late 1970s. He was the only Gold Logie winning fictional character on Australian television, with McDonald collecting the award in characterIn his later and most famous incarnation, Gunston had evolved to become the unlikely host of his own national TV variety show, The Norman Gunston Show, which premiered with a live broadcast on ABC television on 18 May 1975. Dubbed "the little Aussie bleeder" (a play on the term "Aussie battler"), he satirised parochial Australian culture, media "personalities" and egocentric talk show hosts. from wikipedia.
