First Les Paul I ever played was a late '55 Goldtop with P-90’s, a Tune O Matic bridge and stop tailpiece. I was at practice at my drummer’s house and I broke a string on my Kramer with Floyd Rose. I had forgot my allen wrenches so I couldn’t change the string. Drummer didn't have any allen wrenches and suggested we go next door to his neighbor's house to borrow one. His neighbor didn’t have a allen wrench, but he did have that '55 Les Paul Goldtop, which he kindly let me borrow so we could finish our practice. First time I ever met the guy too. Turned out to be the best guitar I ever played. I was absolutely blown away by the tone. It was lightweight too. Man I miss the 80’s. Those were the best times.

1955 Gibson Les Paul gold top with P90’s is a Dream Guitar. A lot of great blues, jazz, and rock n roll musicians have played a gold top P90’s Gibson. Michael you make that guitar sound so fine and drip with tone.

Great work by all hands! In 1978 I saw and heard Robert Fripp in concert with his Frippertronic setup. Two Revox two track reel to reel recorders. I took him about about 20 minutes to accomplish what Lemmo did in less than 20 seconds looping.
