i always thought one stars were sick but i never had them. i had a pair of chucks about 30 years ago and hated them, possibly the least comfortable shoes i've ever worn.

I really dig that the 8.5 decks you sell have a shorter wheelbase than the average 8.5’s on the market. The Lovers deck graphic is really nice too, might have to grab one of those soon.

i like rose anvil too. full grain leather skates well once it's scuffed, and holds up way better than suede

Man, I can’t remember the last time I had full grain on a pair of skate shoes. Usual the cheap bonded stuff.

I purchased the fastbreaks and really wanted to like them. The only problem I had was that I couldn't feel my board. I probably should have gotten the all suede versions. The as1 looks very tempting.

i like to grab shoes on sale. it's usually the loud/goofy colorways that didn't sell, but i don't mind bc they gonna get shredded anyway. i remember i got 2 pairs of etnies leather mcraps, in the mid-'90s, in the red/blk/white colorway like jordans. i'm not a sneakerhead or a sports fan. i thought they looked goofy at first, like clown shoes, but they were $30 each and the color grew on me.

@@NormanWoods i thought the red/red sole high-top raps that sal barbier wore in questionable were sick. i like colorful shoes at times too, but i got there by being budget minded. i remember getting some high-top globes that were green/black faux animal print on the cheap, they were actually kinda sick. i think the model was 'destroyer'
