What would you do if you saw someone abuse and/or neglect a child out in public? Since April is child abuse prevention month, we decided to test Stockholm's citizens by creating a public scene resembling child abuse.
We strongly ask you to share this video to spread the awareness of child abuse. Our future is only as bright as a child's smile.

People are, by nature, scared of confrontations and conflicts. People don't *want* to get involved. Especially the ones that involve violence. It seems like they're cunts, or pussies, or dickheads, or any other type of swear word. However, if you look at it from an objective standpoint, here's what you get: 1: You step in alone against two guys who're agressive. Chances are you're going to get beat up, even if you're good at fighting. 2: You yell at them to stop, they're in a complete rage-mode and seem like they will do anything to harm those who hinders their ability to abuse the children. 3: You walk away and call the cops, the cops get there and those who abused the kids are long gone, now you look stupid and possibly have to pay bills due to misuse of authorities. 3.1: You walk away and call the cops, the cops get there and arrest the abusers. Now, 3.1 seems like a good outcome, but abuse of any kind is generally something that's extremely difficult to prove in court, especially if it's family related. What you always have to think is not whether or not they're dickheads kicking children, because they obviously are. You need to think about whether or not you can *prove* that they're dickheads kicking children in court. If you can't *prove* they're dickheads kicking children in court, you will most likely be left with court fees (unless it's the children who're taking it to court, however that's rarely the case in family abuse situations). I'm not saying you shouldn't stand up for others getting kicked around, especially kids. If you're in a group, your whole group can go over there and diffuse the situation. If you're alone, pull out your phone, call the cops and then immidiently start filming them, because now you've got *evidence* to prove their abuse in court, raising your chances of winning the court case enormously.

As a person who has been abused for as long as they can remember, it means a lot to me to know there are some people who would stop and help souls they see this happening. I remember when I was about 5 or 6 by dad got really mad because I wasn't walking fast enough even though I was tired and hadn't eaten literaly all day, it being noon already. I can understand his annoyance, but what I can't understand is why he slapped me, shook me by the neck, threw me onto the ground and drove off without me with my sister in his car with him. Though people saw that I was alone and saw him leave me they did nothing to help. Bless those who had the courage to step in even for these actors.

I'm not sure if I'm inspired or disappointed. There were so many people that stopped to help but there were a lot that kept walking. In my opinion it is our responsibility to help. If we stand aside or walk by then we may as well as struck the next blow that falls. It takes seconds to call the police. We may not be able to physically intervene but we can do more then nothing.

remember way back when I was 13 years old and in the 7th grade. I was a skinny tiny teen. I was only 4'11. I got abused by my father, so did my older sister, Bethany and my little sister, Emma. It all started when my Mother died. I didn't think, I just reacted. I was furious. Since I play baseball, I used My bat as my weapon. I went swinging with it. Knocked out All of my dads friends. Since my Bat send them flying to the floor . I yelled at my 2 sisters to run and get help. My dad, launched himself at me, and I just barely managed to get out of the way in time. I wasn't able to dodge the fist though. It knocked me down, but I honestly didn't feel it at the time. I swung hard with my bat, he caught it, and flung it away. I shot up to my feet, and took off running, screaming at the top of my voice. I didn't get very far. I was tackled. Still didn't feel any pain. I managed to turn over and bring my knee up into his groin at the same time his fist connected with my face. I was knocked out. When I came to. I was in the NHS. My Aunty Sam was on her way to pick me up. The Police wanted to know what happened. I was in a world of pain. I just wanted to know what happened to My sisters. They were ok. I spent two nights in the hospital. All Of the attackers (My dad and his friends) had been in trouble for this sort of things before. At first they were just going to Arrest them for a week, till My aunty and uncle threatened to sue and let the entire world know. So all Of them were sent elsewhere. I never saw them again. My sisters, who had Hated our aunty and uncle, became fond of them, and still are. I was Proud to say ''My spirit's flowing again!!'' :D

seeing this makes my blood boil. i was abused by my dad when i was younger mabye 11 and he threatened if i told my mom it would be 5x's worse but i didnt care i had faith my mom wouldnt let that happen and i was right since then i made a decision that has shaped my life. i decided that to many kids in this world were being abused i decided that i would use my time on this earth defending people who were abused no matter what type of abuse it is and i am working on that. i am 16 and i have already pulled abuse to the cops attention 2 times where they never saw it i hate people who are cowards to beat on small children and people who ignore it when its in plain veiw they seem to be even worse.

When I came to the aid of a twelve year old boy who's mother was verbally abusing him (horrible, hateful language) in the grocery store, the clerk told ME to leave. It doesn't matter though. I'll always stand up for a child, senior, animal. Someone has to protect those who cannot protect themselves. It's just being a responsible human.

a few years ago I may have stopped to do the right thing. But since becoming a father I can honestly say without hesitation i would have stopped that. I see my 3 year olds face on other children now. And as a parent I can only hope that someone would do the same for my little girl.

I would definitely help.. I have been that kid being abused and no one helped, the world is fucked up and I’m great full for the friends I have in my life cuz they help me, we definitely need to spearhead awareness!

One day i saw pranksters doing this experiment, i didnt knew that they were pranksters. When I saw them "beating" a child i took my gun and pointed at one of them and the second one said ,,CALM DOWN ITS JUST A PRANK, HE IS OK" and then they thanked me for helping the child. btw i hate these pranksters but you are amazing!
