Standing ovation for that one! 👏 Tilly, Earthworm Jim was a great classic series, and you have great taste. I don't know, Adam; I can't possibly imagine anything more entertaining than watching you lose your entire mind playing Monopoly. You'll have to come up with an extremely clever replacement to top it 🤔

@@AmariieMaerthos normally I would have to agree with you that people shouldn't play something that they dislike. The problem I have is that they went full on with the production of the bet with the chalk board and then later when they realized he wasn't going to make the rules got changed and they started counting every game instead of the last one. If it was just Adam making his New Year's Resolution and they left it at that I wouldn't care, but with how they have done it and it taking 30 more games than the original 22 game figure it was based on feels like a big scam to the audience.

I have never commented on a youtube video before but I feel compelled to after this lovely video. The last few years have been very dark times for me as for a lot of people. I used to play board games with my friends in London every week and it was an essential part of my life but due to COVID I have been trapped overseas for 3 years and have not been able to play with them. I have suffered from isolation and depression as a result but this channel has really helped me get through it. Instead of playing with my friends every week, instead each week thanks to you I got to watch a video full of banter and injokes and people making crazy plays “for the bit” just like my games at home used to be. Funny and competitive but with a pleasant friendly core as the essence of boardgaming and life should be. I am finally heading home next week and I simply want to thank everyone involved for your channel which really helped me, and I’m sure many others, through some difficult times- it seems silly to say for a youtube channel but you did make a difference in my life. I will be sure to visit Draughts in tribute when I arrive.

And about the werewords, I think they did count the losses but not in that episode because when you see the ending of the next episode (Secret Identity) there are 5 additional losses on the board that were not there in the ending of Werewords. Or maybe they played some game for patreon in between and counted them (but I doubt there were 5 losses in that) And I haven't counted Adam's 1 win and 2 losses because it's not on YT (most probably available on patreon), and I can't count them because I don't know all the participants and who lost and won those respective games.

Carly's wrong about the reference Sully should have got. It was "Flair" (NATURE boy rick) that he missed. Then in the next round he proved he knew it, by doing "boy". EDIT: 22 wins and 60ish losses isn't terrible, when he's sometimes coming second out of 6 and counting it as a loss. I'd personally only define losses as the distinct opposite of a win, i.e. nobody else exceeded you in that direction. dead last (or on the losing team if there are teams) is a loss, and only 1st (or on the winning team) is a win. In my mind a quarter of the time he's the best player at the table, and there's a lot of games where there's more than 4 players.
