Another excellent edition of BGC. Compared to the original Deception playthrough I think this follow up really displayed the chaotic brilliance of having additional accomplice and witness roles. Watching Adam and Jon get steadily more and more tense (well Jon was actually at a stress max after round one!) was a joy to behold. 👍🏻

I have no idea what planet Rosie is from, but I'm so glad she is visiting! I did think she was the accomplice though... Not sure if you can play it online, but you really need to get Rosie and Sully to play Gloom - the way those too go on tangents would be brilliant in that game

@@mathewcox9371 If you look up the playthrough on Wil Wheaton's TableTop on here (with Amber Benson from Buffy) it does a good job showing off the game at its simplest. They ignore some rules about hand sizes on cards and just let it be a structure for riffing a story, and I love that - it has enough of a game at the core that for people who are intimidated by full on improvisation, they've got a solid thing (the card text) to jump off from. I suspect that Adam might find a bit too limiting, I think he enjoys the full on improv of something like Snake Oil, but a game like that is probably too much for me.

My theory upon seeing the first round clues: A thin worker with *dirt* on his person from having worked during a night shift goes to the _bathroom_ to wash his dirty hands before going home in the morning. At this moment a witness sees *Rosie* perform the _action_ of pouring gasoline and striking a match, committing *arson* that causes the victim to die from _suffocation_ due to the smoke.

Great time as usual! Will say Blair picking bathroom while towel and drown is out there, locked the game on Laurie the entire time. Her decision was a better defense then anything Sully or Brooke did. That being said, loved the game and the cast

Like a private but for the navy would be more accurate. Ensign is as real a rank as Admiral or Captain in the navy. I'm not sure (been ages since I've seen or read anything Star Wars related), but I think they refer to themselves as the Imperial "Navy". Which is par for the course for most fleets and armadas comprising of space crafts in Science Fiction. And besides, you can't say Ensign without everyone thinking about the undisputed, most liked, charismatic and revered character in all of Star Trek; Ensign Wesley Crusher.

Ok, I´m at 21:47 rn and I think the accomplice is definitely Adam, he´s just acting like an idiot and babysitting the others "hey, but what do you think" and those sort of lines, including the others so much that it makes him hella sus, but the clues don´t fit, so the murderer is not him. While writing this, I´ve just remembered that there is a witness, and I haven´t thought about that for a second, well shit. I don´t think it´s Pete or Jon. Rosie has a mini chance of being it, don´t think so tho. I don´t think Adam is the murderer, so that leaves Laurie, Sully and Brooke. And 5 seconds later Pete says:"And let´s say if Adam is the accomplice", this is creepy af rn :D. 27:00 rn and I think it´s been a really bad move by Jon and Pete to actually say that they think that Adam is the accomplice, imo they should´ve just said nothing, but keep an eye on him, watch what he does, to eventually convince the others of their opinion when the time is right. 30:41 "worker doesn´t fit with plastic bad and hair" Why don´t you think of metal wire and hair then bro? xD 1:09:10 imo it´s either Sully or Laurie. Sully with metal wire and hair fite perfectly^^ The obvious guess would be some combo with Laurie tho. 1:10:10 wait... there has to be a witness and everyone except Laurie has made their guess. Did the witness make a wrong guess on purpose or is Laurie the witness? OMG Rosie just said what I thought, the Sully-metal wire-hair combo!!!! Rosie the witness threw everyone a bone and then turned the whole game around in the end? would be amazing if it was like that, seems unlikely tho. So, Adam wasn´t the accomplice after all huh.... xD Adam play more like a normal human please, you´re always sus to me :D Really didn´t have Brooke on my radar as the accomplice! I KNEW IT´S ROSIE SHE MADE SO MUCH SENSE. WHY WOULD SHE JUST SAY RANDOM THINGS OTHERWISE?! Great game! Would love to see more!

My thought from the first round Picture this Our victim comes home After a long day At work They work a night shift So it’s morning They decide I’m gonna run a bath When Suddenly The murderer breaks into the house And drowns them in the bath They scratch and claw with their fingernails but they can’t break free because of how thin and weak they are. And they end up suffocating. A witness can see the action of drowning through the bathroom window.

Man Brooke MVP for friggin sure. She steered them around like they had rings in their noses. At first I thought Blair made a horrible mistake on keeping in worker when it was leading them on wild goose chases, but then it all made sense when I thought of a construction/renovation worker bringing out wire from their toolkit. What a shame.
