Catching up on all these old videos - one other thing about "winter" is to look at what Adam *didn't* choose. By not choosing summer or spring, it eliminates bat (neither baseball nor cricket are associated with winter).

I disagree. I agree that by what Adam didn’t choose eliminated Laurie, but because of his clues (not weapon). All of Laurie’s clues fit with either weekday/weekend much more than winter. But yes. I think in this game the most important thing is what doesn’t get chosen, not what gets chosen.

Dang well played good team. I got thrown off the scent real hard by winter, went towards Jon being a xmas card, or maybe even a sock to stay warm, but the hand clue ruled that out for me. But also Jon was protesting so hard so it made me think he was getting worried. Blair was such a cool cucumber. But ya I think the picture painted of someone on roids getting outed was number one choice. Prolly should start with that over take out, but both are good.

Before the third card came, I was suspicious of Blair, John and Laurie. Then winter came and I screamed for the next 20 minutes: JOHN - CHRISTMAS INVITATION CARD - STONE Just to feel then a bit stupid xD

Blair should have used the winter card - If you strangle someone, you leave bruising on the neck, so strangling with a scarf (winter) and the sudden sound was the body hitting the floor... That first guess put her in a real hole though

Winter just made prescription more obvious to me; you get sick in winter and would need prescription medication for that. The context of sick-prescription doesn't fit the narrative of the crime but it does push the prescription as clue

It is weird how little people are talking about the steel tube because weightlifting bar. If I was there playing, I would have started on the steel bar as the best option (also a lot of people will have a weightlift bench in corner of the living room)

If it was between Laurie and Blair then winter ruled out Laurie as bats are put away properly in winter since they’re only used weekly in summer, and therefore more likely to be lazily dumped somewhere in the house every week during summer. Furious also could have been a prescription clue

How it could have been Sully: It was a cold winter day, and the victim had just jogged up to Sully's door in a scarf. Sully invited them in, and after a while the two of them began an altercation that ended with Sully strangling the victim with their own scarf. In the struggle, they tripped over Sully's cat (Sudden sound was the cat's yowl), and the victim died, while trying to stop the strangulation. The bruise was on the victim's throat.

This was by far the most easily plausible murder. Athlete past their prime, after a serious injury that flares up in winter. secretly taking prescription drugs, found out and accused suddenly goes into a blinding rage, striking their victim over the back of the head with one of their trophies from the mantle. Nearby bystander hears the sudden thud of the unconscious victims body hitting the floor, with prescription in hand. The victim with bruising and even a deep wound on the back of their head. Maybe not every clue fits but they paint a vivid picture if you’re able to use every potential piece of the puzzle.

Blair really missed a GOLDEN opportunity with the clue "HAND" in relation the the victim's body to throw suspicion on Laurie - The victim was polishing his leather shoes when he was attacked, thus the body was found with leather shoe polish on his HAND. 😝 Haha

@Ryan The link was added a few hours after the video was uploaded after a few people asked for it. I took a look at the link, and I found the interface a little ugly, and would have liked something that would help new players try to use it. As for TableTop Simulator, I don't think I can honestly recommend that to the people I'd like to play this game with. For the gamers, I find the interface really clunky, and for the more casual players I don't think it offers good value since they're not going to use much of it. The only nice thing about using TTS is the ability to look at what is in front of players which would be a benefit compared to the real world where you could feasibly be trying to look at a players (fairly small) cards from a big distance

You know, I would think that the first murder weapon would've been the clue and the first clue was the murder weapon. Spoilers ahead Blair could have started murdering the victim as the victim was looking at a trophy, forcing pills down the victim's throat to force an overdose on a prescription drug and failing to notice the small trophy clutched in the victim's hands as they dumped the body, or maybe a doctor who prescribes dangerous drugs and tells their victims to take too high a dose and then follows their victims home in order to leave a clue to taunt investigators, but then instead you can only really say that they bludgeoned the victim with the trophy and dropped their prescription on the way in.
