I didn't catch him saying it in the rules instructions so I wanted to add for people interested in Challengers: The games are played at the same time instead of one after the other. They clearly did it that way for the audience, but this game is easily played in 30 minutes all the way up to the full 8 players because you're all playing your matches at the same time.

Tiny rules correction: starting from round 2, the starting player is the one who last won a trophy (flip the coin if tied). Because usually the starting player is in a weaker position

I had thought there should have been a mechanic like this as it seems like it could be easy to outpace the other player. I feel it be better to actually have to beat the other score than just equal it as the defence should have that advantage not the attack. x:x

The best way to understand this card is to read it backwards. "Put a card to the bottom of your deck". Simple really, just moving a card, potentially helping. "Look at all your cards." This means you know which card you're moving, giving you a very nice bit of deck control for the early game.

I love deck building games, but I definitely feel too stupid to play this. I'll stick to Epic Spell Wars Annihilageddon and the DC Deck Building Game, but I do enjoy seeing Sully like this lol

this is not super hard as a deck builder and you can play this for free on Bord game Arena if you want to try it out since the main thing is big numbers beat small numbers wrapping your head around building a deck is not too hard and you will quickly find the decks you like to go for the most. I play this all the time on BGA

@@rockassassin64 I still have never used BGA lol Also, generally I just prefer deck builders that are just deck builders. Starting deck of 10 cards, play to make power, use power to buy cards from a line-up, use what you get to smack around the other players characters and a villain stack, repeat. When they add in other games as a part of one as well, it gives me anxiety because I have to focus on multiple games at once. I have a copy of Tyrants of the Underdark and I still have never played and am terrified to try lol

I'm waiting with baited breath for the episode where Jon either a) finally snaps at Sully and forces him to take off that ridiculous 3D-printed crown (seriously, it looks stupid on him - never mind the idiotic theme song!), or b) formally challenges him to another Lord of the Board tourney so that Sully stops gloating every episode the two of them are in together. I, personally, am rooting for the latter. Maybe a foray into MTG (as hinted at over on CTRL Freaks, NRB's video game channel) will finally serve Sully some humble pie.
