But after watching more videos, I see that while Sullivan plays a clown, when it comes to action, he only ever looks out for himself, happily throwing others under the bus, even if the game is cooperative. So he's a pretty solid definition of evil in my book (of the selfish/self-serving variety). E.g. in Dracula, he played a rich character who got lots of resources and had to discard them. He never shared (technically, he did once, when he thought he was compelled to by the rules), never even considered to (judging by the fact that he never consulted others if they needed anything).

Sadly it probably will be in January, they're playing 8 games and I doubt they'll do more than one a week (and even if they're recorded ahead of time they won't do it live on jingle jam not to spoil who won)

You do recognize, if they only get a double draw for the next power card out of this, they: - Play the next game with no advantage - Still end up drawing 2 cards that actually have an effect between the first 2 games - Only get to use one of them, rather than both , right? That's the worst power. They might as well have drawn one of their next cards now, except now they're supposed to have the best power deck and next time, they might win and have the worst, so it not only downgrades the card, not only downgrades and delays the card, but downgrades and delays the card and forces you to pick between it and another. Were they both just unlucky or is Teri's advice about to be a serious hazard?

This brought back flashbacks of trying to teach this fairly simple game to a group of 4 others, where 1 wasn't really a gamer and another was a drunken casual gamer. The whole time, I had to resist screaming, "This isn't that complicated! How are you so bad at this!?" Like I said: flashbacks. Anyway, love the series idea.

The turn has many stages which are not conveniently laid out anywhere. The pics on a player's sheet are not very descriptive, some stages are taken simultaneously while others individually, and AFAICS, it does not list bonus actions and the number of cooldowns.

1:01:01: Laurie did an overhand shuffle when he reset his deck. Which is also how I shuffle, and that's why I know it's horribly ineffective 😂 I just Googled it, and while a riffle shuffle takes only 7 shuffles to fully randomize a deck of cards, overhand shuffles can take between 50 and 1,000 shuffles to do the same. Most of the time, you just end up with cards that were grouped together still grouped together... like heat, for instance. Or, for me in Magic, like lands 😑 I really need to learn to riffle shuffle, but sadly, I rolled very low on my IRL dex stat... And Sullivan... "that was the most sexual thing that's ever happened on No Rolls Barred"? Bullshit; don't you remember that archaeology game where somehow you all just kept talking about wanking for like 20 minutes straight? 😂

After League is over, and you're back to playing new games instead of just classics, I would love to see you guys play Clank! I've watched people play the digital version and loved it, and then I raved about it so much that my friend finally went out and bought it 😅 (I swear, I didn't ask him to, I was just so obnoxious talking about it that he caved!) We played it for the first time this past weekend, and it was so fun! Plus, the base game comes with a double-sided board for Easy or Hard mode, so extra content, and there are tons of variants and expansions for the next Replay Month or League! ...alright, I'll stop being obnoxious about it again. But if it made my friend cave and get it... did it work on you, too? 😏
