Kudos to Alex for finishing the match despite the injury. I find it surprising he could compete without his powerful serve and hold it to the tie break. Bonzi is back to his best level before Covid and injury, good luck for the final and what a strike so far!

They are both very tough opponents. They are both players with unusual technique who are nonetheless very difficult to beat, so as a result, whenever anyone faces Moutet or Norrie and manages to win, they celebrate quite a bit because beating either one of them is actually quite an accomplishment, no matter one's ranking. Even guys like peak Nadal/Djokovic/Federer would be celebrating a victory over them.

Norrie is a tough guy to bet. Not only his style of tennis but more so his antics on the court. Imagine yourself play someone like him who thrives on the confrontation with his opponent ('vamos') or the battle cry in this match every time he won a game. It's actually instilling hate in the opponent. It is part of his game plan. Then he meets Moutet who is also very unorthodox and a hell of a fighter. Too bad it did not go on between the two.

I used to like norrie because i respect hard working grinders, but he’s had too many poor sportsmanship moments. I respect that he’s trying everything to win, but he has circled the wrong mark to try to get a winner overturned on clay, he has deliberately hit his opponent with the tennis ball even when it wasnt the optimal play, or even once when his opponent had turned around to concede the point. This tournament i noticed him shouting “come on” directly at his opponents in their native language. Its always something with him. I really respect his tennis, but not his personality on court

Kudos to Alex for finishing the match despite the injury. I find it surprising he could compete without his powerful serve and hold it to the tie break. Bonzi is back to his best level before Covid and injury, good luck for the final and what a strike so far!
