Thank you. I use the 1100 for bay runs. I slow it down with a bigger stab. Hope that helps.

Great review buddy. I use a lot of the 950HA for almost every condition, big waves winging, downwind with wing. Now I'm getting into the parawing downwind and I'm wondering if the 900DW could be working better. What do you think? thx

How do these compare with the SF range? Would this be a better option for winging?

The 900 and the 750 are excellent for winging! They have a much wider speed range than the SF range but don’t turn as well.

I think the Horizon is a better all around board (surf sup, winging, parawing) but the Armie is better for dedicated DW.

Hi. Thanks for video. Do you have any experience comparing these to the F-one Eagle X? In particular I’m trying to find out if the DW or Eagle X has the lower take off and stall speed? Say in the 1100 Vs 1000 sizing. from F-one. Regards.

how does using the S142 vs the S178 feel in terms of speed and glide? Do you get more speed with the S142? I use the SF680 + S178 and while I really enjoy it, sometimes I wish for even more speed and glide...

Yes, the 142 is definitely faster. I use this over the 178 whenever I want to go faster and glide further. The down side is that it doesn’t pump as well

I run the sf680 and a chopped s178 and 600 fuse as my main setup. Hoping the s142 unlocks more speed. Just got the dw750 and going to trim the width for roll with high hopes. Already feels faster than the sf680 and ha650.

@@jonmillhouse5395 & @hydrofoilacademy Which do you think has the lowest take-off speed of the SF680 and DW750? I'm thinking about getting a DW wing for riding swells up rivers and way out in the bay. Not sure whether this would replace my 930 that I can only use in light wind or currently downwinding with a wing. Then I have to decide what size to go for. At my weight (65kg) the SF 680 is a good fit in waves but can get overpowered if I go too aggressive. Our swells tend to be slow here in the UK so I feel like i need to size up to DW930??? Any advice appreciated! Thanks

I think the dw750 but completely different machines. The sf made for carving and dw for glide. The DW is pretty wide. I only tow surf and want both and why I'm chopping the DW down until North comes out with the magical narrow, thin hm surf wing. When you decide your priorities you can decide what foil. Nothing fits all. 90% sf680 2 to 10ft faces, chopped dw750 for super clean under head high. MA700 over 10ft or powerful but not super clean.

The Hydrofoil Academy sells North and I’m affiliated with them. I feel like the North DW range is a tad faster than DWP but the big difference is the range. I find it frustrating that the biggest DWP is 930. They could do with a larger one for light wind days.
