North Korean Mansudae Television Startup

Mansudae TV (만수대 텔레비죤) is an entertraining TV channel targetted for wievers inside the DPRK.
The programme in most part covers various performances of DPRK most famous musical ensembles (Moranbong Band, Samjiyon, State Merited Chorus), documentary movies (made in DPRK as well as foreign productions), variety of foreign movies (mostly scheduled to be aired on weekends).

Mansudae TV starts its broadcasting on 19:00 PYT on Fridays and 18:00 PYT on weekends.

I assume this is to save energy as North Korea currently consumes less power than it did in the 1970s (!) It was normal for broadcasters in many countries in the early days of television until the 1970s or so not to begin transmission until evening - in poorer countries or those countries with small populations, this continued up to the 1990s even.

Fazia isso mas eles aposentou por causa da idade. O Brasil é muito fraco ensinar de antena parabólica. Eu não pego muito satélite. Porque os meus de comunicação no Brasil não facilitam. They broadcast foreign action movies, but as I noticed it was during the national Holiday, after that they moved to regular schedule airing revolutionary documentaries mostly or performances by Moranbong / Chongbong / SMC bands
