Nice! Goodluck with yours. I just did a break and shake on mine tonight. I injected it with golden teacher liquid culture 3 weeks ago. I hope I didn't jump the gun but 1 side and the bottom was completely filled with mycelium, so we'll see 🤞. How's yours lookin 5 days later?

My first grow I would consider a success. I got the dreaded C word. But luckily I dumped it under a tree outside and they grew anyway outside just fine. These mushrooms are lifechanging for sure. A little bit of nausea but the depression is just melting away.

Hey I know you've been working on this a while and maybe you've already come across the answer..... but I noticed you asked why we must be so clean inside even though mushrooms grow outside with no need to worry about contamination..... And the answer is pretty easy..... when we grow inside we are basically "forcing" a mycelium to grow.... but just like any other growth be it mold or mycelium or anything else ..... the conditions that mycelium need also happen to be the same types of conditions that mold need to grow(think like, mac and cheese left on the stove by accident while you go on vacation, you're probably gonna come back to some blue smelly stuff on that Mac and cheese) With that out of the way, bacterial growth is competitive for nutrition and some of the more common bacteria that may grow where mycelium grows can be just as, if not more aggressive as the desired mycelium..... And once you put up 4 walls and a roof, (I.e go inside) these different types of mold-bacteria no longer have natural natural enemies.... the biggest natural enemy being the sun..... being inside is basically being condusive to these "mold spores" and just like a P.Cubenes spore groups of them will wait around for their conditions for growth to be met That at least is the gist of why "sterile" is such a big part of indoor mushroom growing

After almost 5 weeks I have no colonization in my aio bag, inoculated with aqueous solution syringe. I don't see any contamination in the aio bag. Should I break & shake to see if it helps speed it up? Or just keep waiting?

I have a question: so i just inoculated my millet spawn bag yesterday, and after injecting the spores (which are gray and hard to unclump) I stupidly broke up the bag after injecting. Idk why i did this but i was wondering if that harmed the spores? Will mycelium grow?

Hey I innoculated 2 Ben’s bags almost 2 weeks ago and only about 15-20 % has colonized so far…. There seems to be no rot or anything, is it normal to take this long?

My uncle bens bags took forever the 1st time and only ended up with 1 viable bag out of 10. The other 9 rotted. The next time i did rice bags i used dollar tree brand and all 8 of them worked out fine. Still took way longer to colonize than the jars im using now.

I got a syringe eden spores and had the same issue. I another from PNWSspores and had great success. They are my go to now. I injected the same bag that wasn't growing and it's not in fruiting conditions for the last 8 days. Impatiently waiting on pins to pop up
