Hi man. Love your reviews. Thanks for that. So , long question: I ride almost only North gear cause I´m from Chile and there are very few options over here. I wingfoil at an intermediate to advanced level but I´d love to get into downwind foiling. I pre-ordered a Horizon 115lts board and currently I have an sf1080 and a sf830 front wings. Would those be enough to get me into downwinding? or should I aim to another front wing? maibe the pump 1800? There is very little information and reviews about north gear. Maybe you could do a review over downwind gear by North. Thanks

@la_culebraaa thanks for the kind words mate. Much appreciated. I’ve just got my horizon 115l and I absolutely LOVE it. It’s such a great board. Doing a full review on it right now. As for foils. I think the SF1080 would be a bit small to learn with. They are about to release a Downwind range and the bigger sizes will be great for learning. They have a 1400cm DW front wing which is really good. If you can justify the new HM mast, I’d recommend that, especially with bigger foils. It’s crazy stiff which give you control with big foils but really efficient as well. The new gear North is pushing out is next level good. 👍

Did you have signal issues with the foil drive?

I did at the start but when I started packing the tracks properly and using the correct technique it was fine. I’m going a review of the new antenna system soon…
