Hi Andrea sorry for the late reply. Staithes is a fabulous peaceful place and it's nice to see that it's still a fishing village and tourism hasn't spoilt it. We were lucky with the weather that day because this year has been quite wet. We only live about an hours drive away. We wish you and your family a great Christmas all the best John and Janice

Hi Campingdogz. We were very lucky with the weather because this year our days off have not matched up with the best of the weather. It's a beautiful place is Staithes we went to the cafe for a sandwich and cuppa then sat on seafront with an ice cream, bliss. This is a great family walk for summer because it can be a bit bleak in winter. All the best The Taxi Driver

Hi Anne, this is a fabulous little walk and Staithes is fantastic as a half way point with its cafes and pubs or if you prefer a picnic. The coast path is so pretty but is just as lovely inland you just don't know what you will find. We know you will have a lovey time. All the best The Taxi Driver

Hi barbaralcharles, we did this walk 15th July 2019. It's a great easy family walk especially on a sunny day. There are some lovely cafes and pubs in Staithes so you don't have to carry anything with you. All the best The Taxi Driver
