We are all trying to make some logical sense of the system that is rigged. Powell and Yellen have their agenda and their beneficiaries. All we can do is ride the roller coaster 😅

For over a month the market has been easing. Financial conditions have been loosening. But there's no spike in economic activity that you would expect. No rush of home buying. Maybe it will come when Fed cuts rates more and starts a hiking cycle. But not much is moving since November. Gdp 4th quarter won't be above 3rd quarter. And next quarter could be worse. Even as Financial conditions have eased.

I think you're completely right, the problem is, if we stay on the crazy path for another 10%, then have a correction, maybe a slowing growth narrative you get back to where we are or maybe slightly lower. Of course there are multiple ways to trade this but man, the premium on calls is really good. Rather than selling positions I have been throwing calls into them. Take the premium and not have the tax of selling the shares.

You people are going to understand why powell pivoted in a few months. Economy not going to be as it was last year when rates were lower and financial conditions were looser. Inflation is now transitory. Now it is. The deflationary forces are going to accelerate in coming months. Hopefully the easing can hold the growth.
