NIMBYs at their finest in Northcote Point it would seem!

There is plenty of room for bikes as you can see! It was safe for bikes. No accidents in many years except for the odd car hitting teenagers on bikes riding on the pavement coming out of drives. We have 4,000 homeless and these useless improvements have cost the ratepayers $16 million for a handful of cyclists a day. I live in this century and I put the homeless before cyclists! Even the bikies have complained about this!

If only they will think about cyclist on Sunset Road on the shore, I wish we had this problem of wanting safer cycling paths for our family. Just imagine, safely cycling to the Auckland CBD from your home. Jealous.

Goodness, first world problems much? Happy to have room for cars, but not bikes? What the hell? What century do you live in? Catch up with the rest of the world Northcote Point.

It really seems to me like you have a serious case of boredom I do hope you left England for a far better reason than whining and giving English people a bad name like myself. I do hope you actively seek and engage in become a more positive and productive resident of New Zealand. Kind regards

I do love it when I get a patronising 'Whinging Pom" comment from a person who hides behind a nom de plume and who has no content and not one subscriber on a KZbin Channel! I have been a NZ'er for 45 years during which time I was made Plunket Woman of Year Auckland 1982 for my contribution to the Arts. What have you done? If you want me to take you seriously have the guts to tell me your real name. Northcote Point has been destroyed by these cycle paths and speed bumps. The design is hideous. I feel sure AT and Bike Auckland must be very proud of what they have done with $16 million when so many are homeless! ( UK irony!)
