DAF DB250 Lowlander Y691 EBR (7441) being described as a sh*t bus by the driver upon my comment to him of how loud the retarder was, however be both agreed that it's definitely not the worst Lowlander in the fleet

It depends on what the vehicles are, I sometimes like them if they're a bit rough, it gives them some charm, but like you said, they should bother to maintain them better

Wait till you see Southend! When something little goes wrong with one of there buses they just scrap it or do a very cheap temporary job on it. Or they just chuck it in service ignoring the dangers to passengers until the MOT cathes them

As a passenger thats an annoying sound, even loud enough when out of the bus and they simply pass by. Also it sounds like maintenance is due, better yet, they need to replace something but they skim at the price so they just change the oil and call it a day until next time

We live in a decker... Always better when they're parked up. Moving day is hellish on the ears. My dog particularly has a distrust of the hydraulically driven fan at the front. He tunes in to it the moment I kick the engine up to move.
