I'm new to Moreton bay and I was watching KZbin videos when I stumbled across your channel. I have binged watched your whole series about Moreton and cannot wait for the next episode. Your knowledge and willingness to share it is unrivaled, excellent information that is presented well. Learning some of the history about the Moreton area is a little bonus. Thank you.

What is the charting software you use and where/how do I purchase it? It looks like fishtrack? I couldn't find a website, the closest was a commercial fisheries site in the US that had no online cart to purchase. if you have a link it owuld be much appreciated.

Its a work in progress. I was hoping to release it next month but the documentation is lagging behind a little bit so it will probably end up being released in July or August. Thanks for the interest, I will announce it on the channel when it is ready.

Great info in your videos. Thanks. Just subscribed. Can you tell me where you get the bathymetric charts from? Especially the offshore charts. Cheers

Thank you. Two places, depending on which ones you are referring to. Navionics now has bottom shading which helps to pick out features. Only available for a paid subscription and honestly, the shading on my phone is better than on my chart plotter and the subscription is a lot cheaper. The other one is from Bathymaps. Again a paid subscription if you want to get a high enough resolution to be useful. You can check it out for free on the bathymaps.com.au web site but the resolution is rubbish until you pay for a subscription. I find they complement each other when it comes to finding new ground.
