I have been listening to this track for over 40 year now. It is in my all time top 10 records of all time. This record does something to me deep in my soul that I can't put my finger on its a work of art sonically and I thought no one could match Frankie. When this popped up on my feed the nigjt after the broadcast I thought I'd give it a listen knowing deep down that no one could match the original, well, how wrong was I, this is an incredible performance, it blew me away I was transfixed by the whole thing. The crowd loving it, the band, backing singers and especially the lead, absolutely amazing rendition, this guy can sing and then some. So glad the full version is up on here to enjoy time and again. It don't get better than this...

Darrell. Never knew of you or even heard of you before BBCs Northern night. The whole show was amazing but you stole it with this track. There's something quite unique and genuine about you and you put your heart n soul into the song. Massive plaudits to you cos you made a late fifties couple quite emotionally happy. Amazing OG track from FV but you covered it amazingly.

@@MrSOLOPIANIST I watched a showcase video if his recently and seriously, if I didn't love him after this night at the proms, in the showcase he TOTALLY blew me away with a cover of an old Gino Vannelli song from the late 70's/80 that I used to play on full blast on my headphones (still have the vinyl - never getting rid of those), that would have just sealed the damned deal. Excellent singer.

You do not have the simplest clue about what you are emphasising here... the boy is a GROSS Amateur and deserves to be castigated in a professional environment... he is beyond incompetent, feverishly out of tone and tune and with absolutely no sense of empathy to what the dolt is trying to express. Total FAILURE in any operatic scenario. Maybe best with West Life... Thank goodness they folded!

Heh... the girl in the audience, right at the beginning when she hears the bass line drop... "Yes!"....."OH MY GOD!!" then... "OOOOhhh!!!!!".. hahahaha love it. This would have been the best surprise ever. I wish I was at this concert. Honestly my favourite Frankie Valli song. This performance truley did that song justice, with the full orchestra. Just like the original track. The fact this wasn't a hit single because of record execs is criminal, but, at least it gets the recognition it deserves today!
