For me, it's quite a lot of work to clean up all the leaves. I have a standard-ish suburban lot with 8 trees on it. There are times like right now I'll spend an afternoon collecting all the leaves, and the next day, literally my entire yard will be covered in leaves again a couple inches thick. And I can't just wait for them all to fall because it'll snow before then and you'll kill your lawn by having the leaves blanket the yard under the snow

I bought a blower/vaccuum lawn tool that can mulch the leaves after you blow them into a pile. Best $120 i ever spent. I mainly just use it for leaves in my driveway. Now living under a black walnut tree is true pain, those things can fall on you and also ruin your lawn. Ive had to pick up over 400 this season.
