I made it to 28 without really trying Indian food. I was kind of a sheltered kid. One time in college, a girl took me to a weird vegan place I thought she said was Indian food. I got what looked like a bowl of milk with seeds in it. It was very strange. I kind of forgot about Indian food after that. Years later out of boredom I decide to try an Indian restaurant near where I work. That is now my favorite restaurant and I have now tried several other Indian restaurants in town.

But I also dont think lasagna has that high of a ceiling in terms of foods, its easy make at home and theres only so much flavour you can pack into ground beef, two sauces, pasta slices and cheese.
