More like painful. Out of all the blunders in this video, him not going around to take the pawns was no doubt the most excruciating one, because with the other blunders, they were only on the board for a few seconds and then they were gone forever, but this one, he had the chance to infiltrate for a solid minute, and I was made to suffer through it all.

Honestly, I think NL could easily make it to 1600 if he played more slow chess and practiced taking time to calculate a bit more. Slow chess would really help improve some of the weaknesses: like not taking advantage of his opponent's one move blunder like hanging a piece, losing a completely drawn endgame, or losing tempi in the opening and middle game for no reason.

@@Worldsportstalk24 Wasn't sus in the slightest. Gave away the bishop pair in the opening, got his queen locked out for no reason, kept hanging the e4 pawn for like 5 moves in a row, hung the f4 pawn in the endgame/late middlegame, hung both the c3 and the a6 pawns in one move in two different ways in the endgame, thus throwing his entire advantage away, and almost ended up getting flagged if NL were to play a little bit faster. That pawn is a thorn in Black's position, and Black will never get rid of it because it's perpetually defended by White's light-square bishop. Moreover, worst comes to worst, he just plays c3/c4 and d4 and adds another defender to the pawn all while fixing his pawn structure. Honestly, if this was the only problem you had with NL's play, then you probably aren't that good at chess lol.
