However, right at 38:28, I heard an ungodly wail right behind me. I instantly turned around, only to be confronted by a horrifying visage of eldritch horror that no human mind could conceive of. 'What are you?' I whispered in terror. 'I am Yogg-Sotthoth, knower of the forbidden knowledge. And that was the worst play that any person has ever made in any dimension' And just like that it disappeared, and I was left with only a bald Canadian man talking to his cat

I expected it, but damn was it well-written. I think it'd have been even better if he completely changed tone after his elaborate introduction and just used really colloquial language for the shock/unexpected factor, but it was pretty great nonetheless.

NL, Thousand cuts deals damage to ALL ENEMIES. The objectively right play at 10:50 was to play a Thousand Cuts, then Blade Dance, then your shivs, then Storm of Steel, then the rest of your shivs. If my math was right it would have killed everything turn 1. Edit: I also wouldn't have taken Gambling Chip; it can only make Mind Blast worse and it's not like it's gonna help you cycle through your deck any faster.

Frozen Eye and Phantasmal Killer together seem like stellar combo cards (especially in a deck where he would otherwise have no idea what he was drawing turn-by-turn, 1:34), but judging from his comment on Frozen Eye at 25:04, NL probably won't realize that this episode. He's seen the power of Mind Blast though-as far as I'm concerned, we're making progress, bois! On the other hand, he's starting to regress back into a speed demon, but on the other other hand, he considered *F A S T M O D E* at 29:50! I don't understand why he's so hesitant about turning it on. If it's because he thinks it would take away from the visual quality of the content and hurt the fans, that's very considerate, but if it's just about reduced runtime and not having enough content, Malf's episodes with fastmode still averaged about 40 minutes. I think that's plenty of time! PS Is it bad that I blink in time with the screen flickers? Have I been haunted by Green Man? 🤢
