1st of all: gheesling collab you always love to see it 2nd of all: the autism spectrum, as with many diagnoses, is but a collection of symptoms and experiences and getting an official diagnosis can depend on as little as what time and place you are or which doctor you find yourself talkin' to. as someone who seeked out my own diagnosis at an adult age and spends a lot of time thinking about it, the toe-walking anecdotes among other things have made me briefly wonder if enelle is part of the squad, but in the end what really matters is how these labels can help one learn about oneself and how you interact with the world. even just lookin' into it can shine a light on stuff, and as silly as it sounds it's encouraging to hear him talk about such a thing so openly! cheers!

superconductor lesson: when normal materials conduct electricity (like a piece of copper), they lose some of the electrical energy as heat because they have resistance. this decreases gradually based on temperature, but it will always have resistance. a superconductive material means that below a critical temperature, the resistance instantly drops to zero. this means that electricity isn't turned into heat, but there is still a a current. this is extremely useful for generating powerful magnets because normal magnets stop being magnets at high temperatures (superconductors are necessary for things like MRI machines). additionally, superconductors exactly cancel out magnetic fields, so a magnet will levitate above a superconductor, which is also very useful for things like magnetic trains. there are superconductors that activate at just above liquid nitrogen making them more practical. a room temperature superconductor would mean that they would be insanely more accessible to use.

I remember an old video recording of me doing a trick from the dreaded "butt shot" angle. That was when I learned that khakis were a no-go for me haha. Ten years later, I'm still blowing through work pants, as a landscaper, abnormally fast. Stretchy anything is always the way to go haha. I'm an exaggerated heel walker. For me, it's more related to the angle that my knees face. I'm bow-legged in a manner in which my knee caps face inward when I point my feet forward and parallel.I believe toe walkers are almost always slightly pigeon-toed. As a heel walker, I'm a big time duck-walker haha. Ironically, when I was still fit and skateboarded regularly, I had high arches and skated on my toes.

It looks the same. The foot still lands flat, but we put the pressure on our toes instead of the heel. From what I understand most people sort of roll their foot when they walk, but when you toe walk you just push with your toes with every step without the roll.
