I think it’d be interesting if there was a “high roller” secret ante. Such that you buy 1 voucher called something like “VIP Pass” which maybe increases your chances of rare cards in the shop, but also unlocks another voucher called “High Roller” which takes you to a “?/8” ante which is 4x harder than your current ante, where the small, large, and boss blinds all have custom rules. And if you complete it, you get a choice of prizes such as a legendary joker pack, or level up all hands 4 times, or choice of any spectral card (with any debuff removed), or even something like select 5 of any tarot cards (repeats allowed). It would be similar to the secret levels in other rogue-lites.

this is a great idea, reminds me of the glitched chest in gungeon. I'm beginning the early stages of making a game similar to Balatro that borrows much of the design and I'll definitely implement something like you mentioned. Thanks, and I'd appreciate any other ideas or improvements you have

brainstorm is one of the easiest jokers to unlock, just keep restarting a run with the checkered deck until you get it, for me it took like 2 minutes. EDIT: Stop assuming I'm telling him to do this on camera how can you guys be this dumb

@@brinecarroll four 7 of clubs isn't that hard really... just get the tarot card for clubs and hold onto it. ideally you want to add some 7's to the deck to make it easier, but eventually you can fish for four of a kind 7's and change them all to clubs. also holding onto a strength/death card can help.

The only parts from Iggy that people actually remember (aside from the blaccent) are the „first things first, I‘m the realest“ bar, and the way she blurts out that „I-GG-Y“ in the middle of the chorus. It’s an absolutely dreadful song either way. But it would be so much worse without Charlie. Iggy agrees as well, hence why most of her post-Fancy singles were just trying to recapture Charlie‘s… „energy“
