Big Congrats on your (first) whole clay pipe, Gail. Now that you got past your first one, you'll find many more. Loved the mermaid bottom, the (court musician?), Alex's little hand, was the perfect "thumbs up" symbol, when turned sideways and who doesn't love an elephant or several? Lol I laughed when Alex was giggling as she described the Monty Python look-a-like.

I agree that seeing the finds cleaned and explained as you find them is great, but I do miss a closer look and chat at the end... just to see some of the more curious and wonderful things cleaned and up close- like the elephants or that blue thing. Just thinking out loud here. I also wonder if it might be an idea to silver mount one end of those slate pencils and cluster them together on a silver chain. Wouldn't they make a cool sound together as a necklace? Thanks so very much for taking us along on this wonderful adventure! We're all snowed in up (over) here in Maine, and these vids make a difference- an impact on daily outlooks. Oh- and one more thing on that same note. Well I have watched this video with a smile on my face the whole time. What wonderful things you found and what were the chances of finding three elephants in one lark? Tiny bottles and jars and many clay pipes and mod carbles. The fish tail was great and I am glad you found out what it was originally, a little tin whistle.
