I love the way Joanie and Chunk get along together so fast . I sit here every time watching your video’s and think to my self , man he put some miles on that truck . Maybe you won’t have to long on not feeding the deer . Here in NY we get fined if caught an could be arrested too. That blame it on CWD , I can see it if big herd but just a few no , an most of the people here had built feeders off the ground. That way no poop or anything else is in the feed . Always throw hay out for them to eat , tell them getting rid of old hay

Years ago I had a pit/Shar pei mix and my rottie. It's hard to see a brown/white and black dogs in the dark. We found 1-2" reflectors and hung them from their collars. At one time I think they were bicycle red, flashing reflectors that were battery operated, so during the new moon, I could turn on the flashers and know where the dogs were... Full moon, the reflectors were fine. 💜🌞🌵

Joe, when pushing the brake caliper pistons back in you should always open the bleeder screw so the old fluid doesn't get forced backwards into the system possibly damaging the anti-lock brake components.

I did the trailer buy thing. I paid $3400 for a 17x16 duel axle w/brakes. Two years and 2400 total miles later, I sold that trailer for $3100. I also moved another family member and used it to support a hot dog wagon for a year. If you can afford it...always buy the trailer. You use U-Haul and it costs you $3000-4000, when you're done the move, you have bupkis left to show for it. Tip, buy a trailer with a ramp door and brakes. Much better resale value and landscapers are always looking for a good used trailer with a ramp door. ;D
@waynejanik96684 жыл бұрын
Thank you for sharing. Dogs seem to find there way to your house. I am thinking you would use the trailer more than you think. I would buy a new trailer. Would could always use it for duck and deer camp. Your canoe would fit inside. Make sure a 4 wheeler fits inside. You could use it as a workshop and storage on job sites. You will fine a large number of uses for the trailer.

Joe , I was thinking that you were about to acquire two new dogs. They seemed to be quite comfortable with you and in no hurry to return home. Lol , that was how I got my first dog. Tippy was a part German Shepard and part Collie. She was supposed to be a farm / cow dog. One day she showed up at my house and spent the day with me until the farmer that owed her spotted her with me as he was out looking for her. A few days passed before she showed up again. I think the farmer had kept her tied up. And back home she went. After the fourth or fifth time the farmer had come to my house to collect her , the farmer told us that we may as well keep her since she was where she preferred to be. I was never out of her sight after that. Not even when I went to school. She would walk to school with me and wait outside until the end of the school day. And then we would walk home together.
@NorthernSeclusion4 жыл бұрын
That is a very cool story. Melissa and I both enjoyed that. Thank You.
@donaldmiller86294 жыл бұрын
@@@NorthernSeclusion, Unfortunately the story of Tippy did not have a happy ending. When I was about 13 or 14 we lived in the city , a couple of years previously we had moved from the small country village, and my parents had divorced. My mother , brother and I had to move into public housing. No dogs allowed. So we gave Tippy to the uncle of a good friend of mine. Where we knew that she would have a good home. On the corner opposite to where we had lived was a small neighborhood grocery store. Bishop's Grocery. It was a few years later when Mr. Bishop related to me that after we had moved, Tippy would come to that house in the morning and lay in the yard all day until returning to her new home in the late afternoon. Mr. Bishop said that she did it every day for over a month. And then she stopped coming.

Alternate cat and dog adjustment. Put a quiet and confidant cat in the dog kennel when the dog is outside. Let dog in to see and smell but can’t chase. You must supervise and praise when the dog settles and lays down and ignores cat. This will also put cats scent in the kennel for Chunk to smell later and know the cats belong. It is slow process and must protect cats.
