Joe /Melissa, Chunky is my kind of dog. Rottweiler beautiful strong hound and so protective. Also a good family addition. My Rottie used to run around the yard with half a building brick in his mouth. I wish you many years of happiness with your new addition.

Hello Joe and Melissa.....As usual, enjoyed your video and thank you both for doing them. As for a few of the "ignorant" comments people make, you always "sock it to them" and put them in their place; however, if I were you, I wouldn't even waste your precious time answering them. Amazing to me all that you do and the few that have ignorant and disrespectful comments probably are unhappy and lazy people who have nothing better to do with their lives. They don't deserve a reply at all. Keep your great videos coming, we thoroughly love them and know how much work you do to make them happen, besides your regular job and all your work at the Farmhouse. Your love for your animals also shows what loving and caring people you are. Bless you both.

Awe, I like Chunky Bear. And I think that's the happiest I've seen Joanie in a while. They play together well. I'm surprised the rescue didn't test him to see whether or not he would get along with cats. Hopefully you can break Chunk of that. The food looked delishious. I did watch Melissa make the jambalaya, the whole time making a mental note of the ingredients I have on hand and what I need to get. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Joe. Been watching you for a long time. I’m 28 and I just lost my dad to cancer. The day you posted this video we were in the ER because he had internal bleeding. We brought him home Friday the 28th with a life expectancies of 2-3 weeks. 24 hours later he was gone. I’m in the central time zone so it’s currently 12:17am 3/3. I don’t tell you this for sympathy, I’m telling you this so I can say thank you. When the days done and I’m laying in bed that’s when the mind starts to wander. Thanks for continuing to post content for me and everyone else that finds there own relief in it. Thanks again and have a good one.

I got home late this afternoon after dog-sitting my friend's Pit Bull, Chico, for five days while she visited family and gambled in Arizona. I kid you not, he's more than twice the size of Chunk. I have never seen a Pit Bull that big. He's spoiled rotten. I had to give him "people food" mixed with his dog food every time he was hungry, and that was constant. Even ice cream! He's a whiner, as well. He wants to go in and out constantly, and last night, I left the front door open so I could get some rest. Whew, I was so glad to get home. This is not my first time, and I think I'm going to tell her next time that she's going to actually have to pay someone to do it for her. Much love to y'all from Florida. ♥️🎈♥️

I recently met a man who had moved from MN to CT and we talked briefly about the differences in winter-here vs there. I mentioned you, your channel and Cloquet when he quickly replied "Oh yeah, paper milling town. You can smell it in the air." I couldn't ever remember you mentioning or filming the mills before, and then you do in this video. Just struck me as interesting. Hopefully Chunk settles in and makes nice with the cats. He's probably gonna meet a whole slew of new animals in the oncoming seasons. Take care and thanks for sharing.

It is weird because even as little as 20 years ago whenever you drove to Duluth and the wind was out of the west and you passed by Cloquet you could smell the paper plant. We have lived here a year and a half now and I have not once smelled it. I have also not smelled it while driving to Duluth on my way to The Tent. I wonder if they have switched the way they process it or something. I had forgot about that.
