Great interview with Chvrches frontwoman Lauren Mayberry. It wasn’t the typical regurgitated questions that people get asked. Love it. And respect it. And she swears a little bit. She certainly is a firecracker, that one! And you didn’t condemn her or make her feel awkward for it. Much respect to the interviewer for it. Shows like the Tonight Show w/ Jimmy Fallon would’ve given her a hard time. I admire you guys for treating artists well in interviews! I do adore Ms. Mayberry, she’s a massive talent and a supremely shining star. Thanks for the great interview! Cheers!

Got into this group a couple years ago, and really wish I got into them sooner. All three (Iain, Martin and Lauren) are fantastic musicians, Lauren has such a great personality and is super genuine. Screen Violence is an amazing record - Final Girl in particular is a banger and is quite an emotional track. Can't wait to see what Chvrches cook up next!

Thanx for this nice interview. One observation: You've listed Lauren's favorite singers and bands by name except the Italian band that made the Dawn Of The Dead soundtrack. The band's name is Goblin, a well-known Italian progressive rock band known for their soundtrack work. They frequently collaborate with Dario Argento, most notably creating soundtracks for Profondo Rosso in 1975 and Suspiria in 1977.
