Beautiful cabin. I put about 1/4" of water in my cast iron pans and bring it to a boil then scrape off the pan. Wipe with a towel ready to go.

There is a chain mail looking scrubber for cast iron and they work ; about $20 us money

I enjoy your videos because you make it practical by using what you have and what is available. What did you use for chinking on your cabin? Crazy weather pattern this year. Canada sees low snow fall. In Tennessee we saw one of the largest snows with bitter cold.
