All four horses were okay, as were the drivers. P H Cruiser was retired, but the injuries were not life-threatening. A truly professional job warning the remaining drivers of what was going on by Greg Young, as always.

If you watch closely hershberger was on the lead...He wasnt rough gaited he just jumped it off....He got him back pacing then the horse tried to jump the pillons...Really nothing the driver coulda done.....He did the right thing when the horse went off stride.He took him to the inside

and the dominoes fall...wow. there is a bias towards harness racing because the accidents LOOK SO HORRIBLE. people who don't follow harness racing will see a video like this and conclude its a dangerous sport that should be banned. they don't know accidents are extremely rare and most of the time, neither the drivers or horses sustain serious injuries. standardbreds are very tough and durable horses...not like their fragile thoroughbred counter parts. these tough little horses were probably up and racing the next week.

Seriously that may be the worse track announcer ever. Now Jack E Lee was the master at calling the action. Bob Meyer and ken warkinten weren't bad either.

Of course the clueless driver casued it as he kept "asking for more" while the horse was so rough for an 1/8 of a mile. So clueless...
