Yeah, technically he is uses his false chord in a yelling projection within something I call in the "mid range" scream. In certain portions, he can actually make it seem like he is both yelling & singing by using something known as "heat" & "fire". Basically, he is yelling onto pitch. Diaphragm wise, it's pretty much the same as any others who do distorted vox/screaming. He's extremely talented.. Yelling onto pitch is something I'm currently learn how to do effectively.

There is a significant difference in the audio bitrates. 240p compression runes at 64 kbps, while 360/480p both run 128 kbps, and 720+ all run at 192kbps. If you just have shitty 10 dollar headphones chances are you wont notice a difference, but with good headphones/speakers you will notice a vast difference.

He does a vocal push. Its really loud yelling with more of a huskiness to your voice. Like with most screams you push out through your diaphram but the vocal chords are thinned out more than doing screams that don't have as much of your voice in like false chords. And because of this you can hold them for longer than false chord screams.

Elliot Smith... I can't say I agree with you, especially with that song choice. Now, I'm not a metal elitist or anything, I appreciate many genres of music; however, I don't think that is a good example of musical versatility. It doesn't progress much and utilizes the same melodic and rhythmic motifs throughout, very little integration of anything that I didn't immediately expect. Its a weird tuning, on a 7 string drop A# with a low F on the bottom string :) They also use drop G# for most of the first album then just drop A# on a couple songs. But all the main ones have been drop G# until these new three songs (World Eater, Quantum Flux and Scarab) which is the tuning I mentioned. It goes FA#FA#D#GC. The others are G#D#G#C#F#A#D# and then just straight A#FA#D#GC.

Didn't exactly consider that (the more you know) but based on my experience with the site, there is a significant difference in sound based on different qualities. I believe that KZbin automatically bumps up the sound quality as you raise the video quality.
