Didn't catch if it was mentioned, but keep in mind the UD60 comes in 8x6.5 bolt pattern so make sure you have a new set of wheels before swapping axles 😂 #HowAreWeGettingHomeWithoutWheels #WhatDoYouMeanIhaveToSpendAnother3000Bucks #TheseAxlesWereFinanced

Well done! You guys are making all those Tesla coal car drivers cry. One thing you did forget - a Chev LT4 engine swap!!
@northridgenation4 жыл бұрын
LoL. We briefly considered a Hemi swap, but we figured keeping the OE drivetrain would be more hassle-free for the winner of this Gladiator.
@WashingtonWetWheelers3 жыл бұрын
Hey @northridge4x4 , I'm running into some wandering at highway speeds with mine. What are you running for pinion angle/caster on these? On that note does the UD60 keep the traditional 6* of separation between the two?

Love Jeeps , only vehicle I know you can purchase for $60,000 and spend another $120,000 building it the way it should be from factory lol. JEEP- JUST EMPTY EVERY POCKET

With that larger axle and larger calipers, which vehicle do you order brake pads for?
@northridgenation4 жыл бұрын
The brakes are the same as what is used in the 2009-2018+ Ram 2500-3500 trucks. Front Brake Pads: OE 68049148AA Rear Brake Pads: OE 68049158AA

Nice axle.
@advapp3 жыл бұрын
One thing that wiring harness that you showed on the rear axle will not wire straight into the stock Rubicon switches you're going to have to run your own switch, front and rear. Might I suggest the Switch Pros 9100 for the Jeep JL/JT ?
@northridgenation3 жыл бұрын
Correct, the Eaton E-Lockers will not wire directly into factory Rubicon switches. This is a Sport model, no Rubicon switches, so we wired them into the sPOD Bantam Power Distribution Module.
@advapp3 жыл бұрын
@@northridgenation yeah as I watch the video I saw that you end up installing aftermarket switches.

We didn't and it stops great. We have had to rebelled the brake once after we put 10-20 miles on it.

@northridgenation4 жыл бұрын
If you have the 8 Spd auto you won't need to re-gear right away, that new auto is pretty awesome. You will want to plan to re-gear in the future, just not needed right away unless you plan on doing some heavy hauling or towing.
