Both the US and Isreal have satellites that could show detailed images of the damage Irainian ADS but they did not. Satellites that can see the license plate of a car.

No they removed the steerable MID-SECTION, the new weapon has more traditional tail fins for steering & a lifting body winglet running the length for lift and stability.

The F-35 isn't expensive. The F-35A is about the same flyaway cost as an F-18 and a bit less than an F-15.

You're missing the application and the cost of stand-off versus stand-in missile systems. They want to use some of the functionality of the F-35 in place of stuffing all that tech into a single, extremely expensive missile, and making the missile more capable in more scenarios. It's a good idea, when we have aircraft as capable as the F-35, F-22 and the F-15EX.

Oh, you mean an intermediate range ballistic missile that is totally outclassed by every U.S. ICBM, and is too imprecise to use for conventional strikes that are actually trying to hit anything and not just to add some credibility to a bluff, and would get Ruzzia a face full of nukes if ever used without warning? Yeah, that would be a really stupid weapon to use other than in a full scale nuclear war. It’s a $50 million missile that can only be used once. The F-35 is more expensive, but can be re-used many times and can actually hit targets with precision. Terrible comparison, Ivan. No potato and 20 rubles for you!
