I'm sure each repair is priced according to the job. Mine was a replacment of pads/cleaning and new paste. The shipping cost more than the job. Remember, package your card correctly! Ups isn't always gentle on packages.

I have a Gigabyte RTX 3080 Gaming device iD: OC 10DE 2206 - 1458 403F and the pads was just trash. They were oozing some sorts of oil, and the card was running very hot (was mining eth at the time). I could not get over 90 hashrate, without breaking 100 C on the memory. Others were getting 110 on their cards. I tried Thermaltake pads, and they were better ofc, but i eventually installed a copper spreader on the memory chips, that really did the trick. I think Gigabyte use some really cheap thermal pads. Temps dropped good and soon after, the ETH was not profitable anymore. Card still going strong.

Actualy Fluke 289 use ~5.4V on continuity mode and ~1.85V on Ohms... so maybe not use continuity mode to avoid strange readings

Most likely the cleaning was the computer itself and then when reinstalling the gpu the power connector became an issue. One of the connections was probably loose and led to it not working.

I've got one of these that won't start. My board won't post and has vga error light. No power rail shorts. Possible memory issue? P.S. my 12v power harness had the same issues with broken pins, luckilly on the -ve ground side
