Mike shouldn’t call another play in his life at FSU if he wants his job
@roncallahan82374 күн бұрын
Do you guys really think that Norvell will truly give up his offense and play calling?? I just can't imagine that he would do that just from listening to him over the years.Well, he definitely needs an OL coach who can recruit and develop. I think mostly Norvell is half way decent in calling plays other than a dive play on 4th and 15 on your own 10 yard line. He also really needs a QB coach because it does APPEAR that Tony hasn't coached Glenn up and Luke looks lost out there.

We do a terrible job of designing plays that opens up the middle of the field and creates space. All to often receivers are running the same routes and Norvell attempts low percentage down field throws on 3rd and short with a blitz coming and with this oline and these QBs.... It's crazy

corey you need to understand 90% of college football runs the same scheme on offense. whoever comes in if they call plays or not will be running a very similar scheme

The only development that Atkins has accomplished is relationships. Not NFL talent. 🤷🏼 Still much love for him as a recruiter though. At least the O-line recruits are, "for now" committed.

Wasn’t Norvell dubbed an offensive guru when he was hired? What happened to that? He just forgot how to run an offense?

@totallynole99834 күн бұрын
He just fired coaches that he just went undefeated and an ACC championship season and a 19 game win streak. Of course it's hard and not normal. But we've seen the ugly this season has been.
@garybroner99304 күн бұрын
I agree with Corey. Most coaches will throw blame rather than face the truth. Plus, it's not his fault that we are paying him 10 million per year with a 60 million buyout. You can blame the College administrators for that
@jabareo4 күн бұрын
When you literally have the worse offense in college football then you have no choice but to be open to someone bringing in a different scheme. It’s that or be fired in the next one or two years.

I just don’t understand how a coach who has a 50% win/loss rate over 4 years gets a massive contract extension. Last season really convinced people that he’s that guy when in reality he wasn’t. He’s still on the hot seat in my eyes especially going into next season.
