Here’s the way i see Norvell’s situation. He could probably get any opening he wants and get paid. But I’m sure Fsu will match whatever he can get. The kicker is there are only a handful of places where he can consistently have the level of success that’s possible at Fsu. So if you can get paid anywhere why wouldn’t you stay in a place where you can compete for championships regularly?

JMO but I don't think admiring baseball cards and reminiscing about the past and how we got here are all that riveting to those focused in the present season and its high level accomplishments essentially 'in the now'...we'll look back after the season ends.

Norvell has a done a great job but the real challenge starts next year of course you still have to beat Florida and win the ACC and get to the playoff and compete for a championship now that you have the success you have to keep it going and with most of this team leaving it will interesting to see if he can keep it going because it will definitely be expected at FSU

Gone be interesting to see how this class shape out cuz most of our low ranked commits are position of need who haven't been recruited well such as DT and LB and u also have a number crunch going on at WR especially if Smith,Coleman or Trader want in. I agree with Bud big time the recruiting in the trenches must improve u can see where Norvell wants to play bully ball the oline class is much better in 2025. Dline recruiting is very crucial must get Odell some help and Pap has landed guys in the past he just lost them unfortunately but we must starting landing these blue chip guys especially with the new playoff format u must be talented and deep in the trenches to win these Championships

They have been bad down the stretch and the run blocking hasn't been great along with some bad accuracy and reads from Travis but they are really banged up hopefully they can get healthy for our big run and plus we where going every game scoring 30+ they do deserve some recognition that was a impressive scoring streak. Atkins is getting the best he can out of this group got to keep recruiting at high level and developing them for better success

They are injuried up front. Not really their fault. Honestly they are not getting bullied a lot of times. I’ve watched games closely and noticed they are 1 block away from popping alot of runs. A lineman might be slow to get to the block or the timing is messed up. Jordan does refuse to run and he makes the wrong read sometimes. I think they will be good if they get healthy up front

My biggest concern is that Saban will retire in 2-4 years. He bought his forever home in Florida down the street from Tiger Woods and is getting a Ferrari dealership. He IS going to be gone in the not too distant future. If Norvell continues to be successful and goes to the playoffs every year, Alabama WILL be looking hard at him. There is only one Alabama. Would he turn it down? Could he turn it down?

I have a strong feeling that the starting QB for 2024 will be someone not on the roster now. Just don't see Tate as a playoff-caliber QB. Maybe Riley Leonard or Michael Pratt can come in and take us to the playoffs. Will be interesting to see.
