One of my best childhood memories was picking strawberry from a nearby farm and have that with vanilla ice-cream. Denmark have good food too, but this is a must try activity if visiting Norway. :)

Such a nice lovely video! I'd like to go to Norway one day. The summer temps would be such a relief to me. Where I live in Southern California, the temperature is 37°-39° C or 100°-103° F for Friday-Sunday this week in July 🥵! It's so hot it makes doing anything really difficult. This is about an hour from Los Angeles. We can swim at night in the pool!

Why do Norwegian houses not have the gardens fenced off like in UK or US? How do people know exactly what land is their own with no fencing?
@sarainnorway
@sarainnorway 2 жыл бұрын
Well.. actually you are allowed to walk on other peoples land here and spent the night if you want 😅! As long as its no closer than 200 meters to the house (I believe its 200 or 300 meters)

@@sarainnorway 150 meters. The answer to the question is that the property is registered in an official database, ensuring that everyone is aware of the precise boundaries. Typically, there is a marker at each corner. While fences are still utilized in Norway, their prevalence diminishes significantly outside of urban areas. To discern a notable distinction between the United States and the rest of the world, Kntn should examine how suburbs are structured. In Europe, there exists a blending of businesses and residential areas, whereas in the United States, such integration is absent. The rationale behind this amalgamation in Europe is the desire for vibrant and livable suburbs. Conversely, in much of America, legal prohibitions stem from apprehensions about a return to an era when individuals resided on factory properties, awakened by the clamor of pipes in the morning, compelling them to commence work. Europe trusts that this apprehension is a relic of the past.
